Too Many Ideas

Hello World

The first post contributing to the internet’s impressive word count.

I have began this blog for the simple purpose: I have way too many ideas of what I want to do with my life. This space is to get into a routine, build focus, join the bear and blogging community and to simply, just start writing.

The aim is at least one post every Sunday, sometimes more and never less. The topics may vary but the mission will stay the same, consistency, curiosity and exploring the idea of too many ideas.

I’ve had this idea on the back burner for some time, but with all other ideas falls victim to not having any direction and the endless pit of doomscrolling and unhealthy attachment with current news events.

Today though, I did.

It is interesting sometimes how a simple unassociated moment can spark motivation. Today, I arrived at a local library to sort some adminny stuff and to get out of the house after an eventful and impactful holiday season. For lunch I got a Tesco meal deal (UK readers will understand)

*For the curious I had a chicken bacon and tomato sandwich, apple and strawberry fruit box and an original Lucozade. This may drastically alter your opinion of me but that was today’s meal.

I was sitting there on my favourite bench in the current piercing cold eating my sandwich and watching the world go by. From the nearby shopping centre an opera singer was busking. I couldn’t for the life of me tell you what song it was or who it was by, but it was beautiful. How can someone do that with their own voice?

Now, I hope this doesn’t sound overly profound but the music, the cold and the delicious adequacy of my sandwich made me want to start this project. I wish I could explain the link but ain’t that the beauty of being human sometimes? (Perhaps a future topic)

So here I am, writing this post to simply get the ball moving, by chance that someone may be reading this. Hello, I hope you are well and living a great day.

As the saying goes “the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the second is today” - Someone, Once (the common thought of this is an Old Chinese Proverb but this heavily debated, perhaps it could be a topic someday...)

This is the approach I’m taking. The project is very much in its infancy but it has started and that is what matters.

That is all from me for now

Thanks for reading

All the best A
